Bank Of Canada Concludes That Blockchain Is Beneficial For Securities Settlements

Reuters reports, Canada's national bank, Toronto Stock Exchange operator TMX Group and non-profit firm Payments Canada, concluded examinations indicating that blockchain can be utilised for prompt securities settlements.

Recently, JPMorgan additionally recorded a patent in the U.S. for a peer to peer payments system, which would utilise blockchain technology for intra and inter bank settlements.
