Reddit Reportedly Removes Bitcoin As Payment

Reddit has removed the option to pay for Reddit Gold, a premium membership program, in BTC mentioning an upcoming Coinbase change. This was published on Reddit post in subreddit /r/BTC on 23 of March.
This all came to notice when a Reddit user BitcoinXio posted a video showing that Bitcoin as a payment option has been removed. While another user emoney40 commented that this may be due to Coinbase commerce change which states that:
Although some users also stated that it was a useless feature because no one would be using it because of its high transactions fees.
Coinbase has already posted that its merchant tools will no longer be supported and a new program called Coinbase Commerce will take effect. The merchants are already told that after may 31 they will no longer have the access to Merchant Tools and they will have to switch to Coinbase Commerce.
